about icon Registration Frequently Asked Questions

What is my organization number and/or password?

Organization login codes are a 5-digit org ID and an alpha-numeric password used when submitting your initial online registration. You will generally access the online registration site through “Register Now” links on ipw.com and in promotional emails.

If you have attended IPW in the past, you should have received an email with your organization number and password for use when registering online. If you forgot your login codes or did not receive them, complete the Login Code Request form.

What is my individual number and/or password?

Individual login codes are a 7-digit individual ID and an alpha-numeric password (different from the organization password) used to access the My IPW portal (and the mobile app).

The individual ID number is your 5-digit company number (e.g., 12345) followed by a period and 1-2 additional digits, e.g. 12345.12.

Note: Only delegates registered for the current year’s trade show will have access to the My IPW portal.

Once registered for IPW, delegates can access the My IPW portal using their individual login codes to prepare for IPW. Sample actions include: Find Delegates, Create Prospect List, Update Organization Profile, View Invoices/Print Receipts, Assign Shared Booth Partner Delegates, and Make Registration Changes/Additions. Note: Actions vary by registration category.

Can I purchase a Day Pass?

Yes, we offer day passes to registered booth-holding companies (not shared booth partners). You can purchase these one-day registrations in the online shopping cart. Note: an individual may only be registered with a single one-day registration; if an individual is registered more than once using multiple one-day registration packages, the registrations will be cancelled and the individual re-registered as an Exhibitor Delegate. A revised invoice will be issued for the difference owed on the full access registration.

Can I bring my spouse/guest/child to an evening event?

No. As the evening events are still considered a networking opportunity, no guests are allowed.

Who is eligible to attend as an International Buyer and what is included in the International Buyer Registration Fee?

Qualified buyers of USA travel products and services are eligible to register for IPW by invitation only. The International Advisory Committee (IAC) Chairs for each of our 70+ participating countries will send U. S. Travel's invitations to international buyers in the fall, along with an email including your login codes for company and individual registration. All registrations are subject to approval by the IAC Chairs and U.S. Travel Association.

The International Buyer registration fee includes:

  • A discount on round trip airfare to Host City (subject to availability)
  • Group ground transportation between function sites
  • All meals and related functions which are an official part of IPW
  • Destination experiences and post-familiarization tours (small fee may apply for post-fam tours)
  • Year-long company listing on ipw.com and online access to all U.S. suppliers

In addition to the above benefits, U.S. Travel will provide lodging at your assigned delegation hotel for the five (5) nights – Saturday through Wednesday (room & tax only), with checkout on Thursday.

Who is eligible to attend as an International Journalist?

International journalists who cover and write about USA travel destinations, products, and service are eligible to register by invitation and approval from the International Advisory Committee (IAC) Chair in their country and U.S. Travel Association. Only working journalists may attend the show; publishers, advertising, media or sales representatives are not eligible for this category.

I am a U.S. Journalist, can I attend IPW?

A limited number of registrations are available for U.S. journalists interested in attending IPW. Email Cathy Reynolds, Lead Manager, IPW Press Operations, for more information. Only working journalists may attend the show; publishers, advertising, media or sales representatives are not eligible for this category.

Are any delegate registrations included in the booth fee?

Not with standard booths. Each registered delegate must pay the individual registration fee. However, the turnkey Express Booth package do include the Key Contact registration.

How many registrations can I purchase for my booth?

Exhibitors may register up to four delegates per 10'x10' booth space. Thus, single booth holders may register up to four delegates; double booth holders up to eight delegates; and triple booth holders up to twelve delegates. (The complimentary Board Representative registration and the various one-day badges do not count toward the four delegates per booth space limit.)

Note: Does not apply to Express Booths, which may only have one delegate (the Key Contact).

Can I register for Media Marketplace without exhibiting in a booth?

No. To participate in Brand USA Media Marketplace, U.S. suppliers must be a registered standard booth holder and purchase a Media Marketplace Package in advance.

Note: The Media Marketplace is not available with Express Booths. If you wish to participate in the Media Marketplace, you must upgrade to a standard booth and purchase additional registrations.

I am an exhibitor, how can I purchase hanging booth banners or other advertising options?

The designated Key Contact (or Registration Contact) for an booth-holding organization can purchase a hanging booth banner and/or ipw.com ads by selecting the appropriate item under the Advertising Opportunities package category on the Cart tab of the online shopping cart. Other print, digital, and on-site opportunities are available through sponsorship agreements.

Note: Hanging booth banners are not available with Express Booths.

Who can register on-site?

U.S. exhibitor delegate registrations and registration changes will be accepted on-site, but must be submitted by the Key Contact for the booth. Other delegates in the booth must go through their Key Contact to make on-site registration additions and changes. The Key Contact for standard booths may also purchase the following U.S. exhibitor one-day badges on-site: Media Marketplace PR Delegate, Sunday/Monday-Only, Tuesday-Only or Wednesday-Only delegates. (Note: must have already purchased the Media Marketplace Package to purchase a Media Marketplace PR Delegate badge–limit 2 per company).

Marketing and technology provider Key Contacts may also purchase additional registrations on-site (at the current exhibitor rate) if they have not yet met the maximum number of delegates total per booth.
