Hotel Accommodations for Hosted Delegates
The IPW Hosted Delegate Housing Bureau coordinates hotel reservations for registered international leisure, meeting and incentive, and domestic buyers; international journalists; and International Advisory Committee Chairs, Visit USA Committee Chairs, and Commercial Service Representatives. Instructions for booking hotel reservations will be emailed to all confirmed registrants.
What is Covered?
U.S. Travel Association pays for lodging (room and tax only) at your assigned official IPW host hotel for the five nights of Friday, May 3-Tuesday, May 7, 2024 (checking out on Wednesday, May 8).
Should you wish to arrive earlier or stay later, you will be responsible for the additional charges, at discounted rates (subject to availability). You are also responsible for any personal charges (telephone, room service, etc.) incurred during your entire stay.
NOTE to Buyers: Your registration will not be considered valid and your hotel room will not be covered by U.S. Travel if you do not submit and accept a minimum of 25 appointments.
Hotel Assignments
U.S. Travel designates hotel assignments for hosted delegates by country/region. The IAC Chair for your country/region will inform you of your delegation's hotel assignment. Under no circumstances will hosted delegates be allowed to stay at a hotel other than that assigned by U.S. Travel. Any delegate who stays in a hotel other than the one assigned will be responsible for his/her own room and tax charges, and will be charged at the hotel's prevailing U.S. supplier rate.
Reservation Deadlines and Delegation Assignments
REMINDER: IPW 2024 takes place Friday-Tuesday, May 3-7. Be mindful of the date pattern when making your hotel reservations.
The deadline to reserve your complimentary hotel accommodation at your delegation’s assigned hotel is March 6, 2024.
- The U.S. Travel Association cannot guarantee placement with your delegation for reservations received after March 6, 2024.
- Changes to reservation arrival and departure dates that are made after April 11, are not guaranteed until confirmed by the hotel.
