Media interested in attending IPW should submit their name and credentials for review to the International Advisory Committee (IAC) Chair in their region, along with several examples of recently published articles in accredited news outlets (within the past 12 months). Articles must be about travel within the United States. Proof of a journalist's name on the masthead of an accredited publication is also acceptable. You will be notified of your status via return email.
Only working journalists may attend the show; CEOs, publishers, advertising, media or sales representatives and custom publishers are not eligible to register as journalists but may participate through the Marketing and Technology Pavilion.
International journalists must be pre-approved by their in-country International Advisory Committee (IAC) Chair.
Please direct your questions to your International Advisory Committee (IAC) Chair or to Cathy Reynolds, U.S. Travel's Media Relations Manager.
Have your Organization Login Codes?
Registration is complimentary for international journalists, and is subject to pre-approval by the International Advisory Committee (IAC) Chair and the U.S. Travel Association. Only working journalists may attend the show; publishers, advertising, media or sales representatives are not eligible for the journalist registration category.
Online registration requires organization login codes. If you attended as an international journalist in 2019, and still qualify for this category, we will email you your organization login codes to submit your 2020 registration.
If you need organization login codes, please submit the brief Login Code Request Form. If you need login codes, please submit the brief Login Code Request Form. Brand USA Marketplace Hall Appointments
International journalists may submit up to 25 requests for appointments with those exhibitors who have not opted out of journalist appointments.
Business appointments at IPW are pre-scheduled based on international and domestic journalist requests. Appointment requests are submitted via the My IPW portal. Once the Online Appointment Scheduling period closes, the appointments will be computer-generated according to the priority matching order. You will receive your appointment schedule list a few weeks before IPW.
Press appointments will be scheduled so as not to conflict with official IPW press activities (i.e., the Brand USA Media Marketplace and the press conferences). On Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, there is the potential for a total of 15 appointments with exhibitors in their booths on the show floor during the official Business Appointment Session. The manual scheduling process offers an opportunity to request additional appointments to fill open slots.
Note: Any international journalist who wishes to submit appointment requests must register and submit his/her requests by April 27, 2020. Appointment Requests will not be accepted after this date.
