We are committed to your well-being

U.S. Travel, premier sponsor Brand USA and our hosts, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and Travel Nevada are fully committed to conducting a successful, productive and, above all, safe IPW that reunites the global travel community.

We are counting on you to do your part to make this year’s show healthy, safe and productive and we thank you in advance for your cooperation and partnership.

Proof of Vaccination OR Negative Test Required

IPW will now require all delegates to show proof of WHO-approved vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid test result, administered by a medical professional and taken within 72 hours of check-in at the convention center (NOT both). We have contracted with Health Shield by 42chat to provide this easy-to-use, hassle-free service to all delegates.

We STRONGLY encourage all delegates to upload their documentation PRIOR to their departure to/arrival in Las Vegas. This will help to ensure event staff can review and validate your document prior to your check-in at registration. If you do not upload your document prior to your arrival at IPW, you may encounter significant delays as our team will need to wait for your document to be validated by Health Shield before you are admitted to the event. Should you encounter any issues, please contact our team.

Note: IPW will be following CDC guidance for when individuals are considered fully vaccinated. You will be considered fully vaccinated two weeks after a second dose of a 2-dose series or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine. If you have been vaccinated within two weeks of the show, you will need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test for admission.

Instructions for U.S., Canada, and Mexico Residents

Simply upload your documentation via text message (no need to download an app) by following three easy steps:

  1. Scan the QR code for U.S., Canada, and Mexico residents.
  2. Upload your document: You will see an option to send a text message pop up once you have scanned the QR code. Follow the steps the chatbot will outline for you to upload your document after sending your text message.
  3. Event staff will review and validate your document. You will receive a text message once your document has been validated--please be prepared to show your green validation check mark at registration and upon arrival for IPW activities.

Note: Each attendee must upload their own document through their own mobile device.

Instructions for Residents of All Other Countries

  1. Scan the QR code for international residents.
  2. Upload your document. You will be taken to a webpage and will enter into a chat with an automated bot once you have scanned your QR code. Follow the steps the chatbot will outline for you to upload your document.
  3. Event staff will review and validate your document. You will receive an email within 24 to 48 hours of submitting your document with your validation status—please be prepared to show your green validation check mark upon arrival at the convention center.

Note: Each attendee must upload their own document through their own mobile device.

Additional Protocols to Protect Yourself and Others

Follow these steps to protect yourself and your fellow attendees:

  • If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, please do not attend in-person IPW activities.
  • All delegates will be required to wear a face covering, unless actively eating or drinking. Face masks will be available at registration should you misplace your own or find yourself in need of an extra.
  • Daily temperature checks will be administered for all attendees. Should your temperature run above normal, you will be asked to meet with onsite medical staff for an additional temperature check and guidance on next steps.
  • Delegates with a confirmed elevated temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, or 38 degrees Celsius, after a second screening will not be permitted to enter IPW. Delegates will need a negative COVID-19 test and normal temperature to be admitted to IPW the following day.
  • Delegates should maintain physical distancing at all times. The 2021 show floor and luncheon hall have been designed with this in mind and, as you know, luncheons have been reimagined, taking place in three breaks per day to ensure adequate distancing.
  • Wash/Sanitize your hands often.
  • Avoid handshakes.
  • Cough/Sneeze into your bent elbow.
  • Take stairs or escalators and avoid elevators when possible.

If you require a COVID test before departing IPW, please view this PDF for local resources.

COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Clinic

As an additional benefit to all delegates, we will be offering an onsite COVID-19 and influenza (flu) vaccination clinic, provided by Albertsons Pharmacy, for those who may wish to get vaccinated while they’re in town. This option is available for all attendees, both domestic and international.

The clinic will offer flu vaccines as well as first and second doses of the Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines free of charge.

Clinic Location and Hours:

  • W320
  • Saturday and Sunday, September 18 and 19, from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 22, from 12:00-5:00 p.m.

  • The average time for your appointment should be approximately 15 minutes, but this may fluctuate based on the number of delegates in line.
  • You will need to bring your government-issued ID or passport and will need to complete some brief paperwork upon arrival for your appointment.
  • Domestic delegates with health insurance should also bring their insurance card—while there is no out-of-pocket cost for any attendee, your insurance will be charged an administrative fee if you reside in the U.S.

Register for a time slot.

Please note that you will not receive a confirmation email.  Make note of your appointment details and add them to your calendar for an onsite reminder.
