Attend as an Exhibitor Buyer

The Exhibitor Buyer category and is intended for booth-based organizations (standard or MTP) who have staff in a product sourcing capacity. Buyer delegates must have the ability to negotiate and contract products.
Exhibitor Buyer Company Categories and Criteria

Receptive Tour Operators and Bedbanks
- U.S.-based organizations focused on international inbound travelers (50 percent or more of revenues generated from international).
- Must be U.S.-based organization exhibiting at IPW.
- Cannot register an individual as both exhibit booth staff and an exhibitor buyer.
- Organization conducts business-to-business transactions.

Online Travel Agencies (OTAs)
- U.S.- or international-based organizations with a focus on international inbound USA travelers.
- Must be exhibiting at IPW.
- Primary product should be offering a combination of hotels, attractions, transportation, etc.
- Organization must be in business for a minimum of three years and provide three current U.S. supplier references.
- Feature multiple U.S. destinations/regions.

Marketing and Technology Providers (MTPs)
- Must be exhibiting at IPW in the Marketing and Technology Pavilion.
- Must be responsible for procurement and/or sourcing products. Staff in positions such as Business Development, Partner Marketing, or Media Services are NOT eligible to attend IPW as Exhibitor Buyers but should be registered as MTP booth staff under the Marketing and Technology Provider category.
- Cannot register an individual as both MTP booth staff and an exhibitor buyer.
Key Points
- Companies that qualify for the Exhibitor Buyer category (Receptive Tour Operators, OTAs, Marketing and Technology providers, etc.) are required to purchase and pay for their exhibit/MTP booth prior to registering Exhibitor Buyers.
- Cannot register an individual as both booth staff and exhibitor buyer.
- Maximum number of Exhibitor Buyer delegates per company:
• Per 10’ x 10’ exhibitor or MTP booth: 6 (2 complimentary and 4 paid)
• Per exhibitor Express Booth: 4 (1 complimentary and 3 paid) - Buyers are subject to pre-approval by the U.S. Travel Association and the IPW Advisory Group, which is comprised of exhibiting destinations and organizations.
- Both new and returning exhibitor buyer organizations may be required to complete the online Exhibitor/Domestic Buyer Qualification Questionnaire.
- Prospective buyer organizations must provide three current U.S. supplier references.

The first step to participating at IPW is to register online using your organization login codes.
Your one-time registration fee covers up to 42 pre-scheduled appointments with U.S. exhibitors, all meals and related functions which are an official part of IPW, host city destination experiences, and more.

Note: Domestic and exhibitor buyers now book their own accommodations but are eligible for a discounted rate of $100 per night (plus taxes and fees) at select hotels as available.
