Help Us Give Back
IPW is pleased to partner with Tourism Cares in giving back to our host community through a day of service during IPW 2019.
Join IPW delegates on Saturday, June 1, from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. as we give back to the Orange County community. A healthy community is what builds a strong destination and our industry as a whole. This year, IPW delegates will give back to our host destination by focusing on what we all love – food!
Volunteers will harvest, plant and build at The Giving Farm, a grower for the OC Food Bank that is creating change in the community by connecting residents to local, healthy food options. Lunch and an education around food sustainability and the connection to tourism will be provided by Bracken’s Kitchen, a local non-profit that uses their “farm to food truck” approach to provide meals for the homeless and less fortunate in Orange County.
Take part in this opportunity to learn the value of incorporating sustainable food practices into everyday life and your business, network with fellow IPW delegates and meet true change-makers and organizations that are working to make our host destination thrive.
Space is limited so register now! For questions, or to inquire about sponsorship opportunities, email Kati Hagedorn at Tourism Cares.
