IPW is your one-stop shop for story ideas and the latest news and trends for the U.S. travel product. Complimentary registration is available for a limited number of qualified domestic media.
Print and broadcast media interested in attending IPW should submit their name and credentials for review to Cathy Reynolds, along with several examples of recently published articles in accredited news outlets (within the past 12 months). Articles must be about travel within the United States. Proof of a journalist's name on the masthead of an accredited publication is also acceptable. You will be notified of your status via return email.
Only working journalists may attend the show; CEOs, publishers, advertising, media or sales representatives and custom publishers are not eligible to register as journalists but may participate through the Marketing and Technology Pavilion.
Your complimentary domestic journalist registration provides access to all official IPW functions, including the Brand USA Marketplace Hall, Brand USA Media Marketplace, press tours, luncheons, and all evening events.
Online registration requires organization login codes. If you attended as a domestic journalist in the past, and still qualify for this category, we will email you your organization login codes to submit your registration.
If you need organization login codes, please submit the brief Login Code Request Form. Due to the high volume of requests, we cannot guarantee that login code requests submitted fewer than 5 days in advance of a registration deadline will be processed in time for you to qualify for a particular registration fee discount or to submit your registration form before registration closes.

Domestic journalists may submit up to 25 requests for appointments with those exhibitors who have not opted out of journalist appointments.
Business appointments at IPW are pre-scheduled based on international and domestic journalist requests. Appointment requests are submitted via the My IPW portal. Once the online appointment requesting period closes, the appointment schedule will be computer-generated according to the priority matching order. You will receive your appointment schedule list a few weeks before IPW.
Press appointments will be scheduled so as not to conflict with official IPW press activities (i.e., the Brand USA Media Marketplace and the press conferences). On Monday and Tuesday afternoon, there is the potential for a total of 14 appointments with exhibitors in their booths on the show floor during the official Business Appointment Session. The manual scheduling process offers an opportunity to request additional appointments to fill open slots.
Visit the Appointments page to learn more about how to schedule your appointments at IPW and view appointment scheduling tutorials to set you up for success at IPW.
Domestic journalists are responsible for making (and paying for) their own hotel reservations, and should do so through the U.S. Supplier/Press Housing Bureau to obtain the best negotiated rates for the conference.
